Internal Audit Unit

The Internal Audit Unit has a function that carries out independent and objective assurance and consultation activities aimed to increase the value and improve the Company’s operations through a systematic approach by evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, controlling and corporate governance processes undertaken by the Company in conducting its business activities.

The Internal Audit Unit as an important organ in the Company ensures the achievement of the Company’s objectives as stated in the Company’s Business Plan, in addition to being directed to oversee the Company’s risk assets and implementing risk-based supervision, it is also expected to function as early warning signals for the Board of Directors, especially in securing company assets, as well as increasing the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls. Increasing the role and function of the audit is carried out through more strategic recommendations in the management of operational activities and risk assets.

Legal Basis for Establishing Internal Audit

The Internal Audit Unit was established on the basis of the following:

  1. Approval of the Board of Directors the Charter of Internal Audit dated February 25, 2020.
  2. Regulation of the Financial Services Authority No. 56/POJK.04/2015 dated 29 December, 2015 on the Establishment and Guidelines for the Preparation of the Charter of the Internal Audit Unit (“POJK No. 56/2015”),

Structure and Position of the Internal Audit Unit

The Internal Audit Unit is headed by the Head of Internal Audit who appointed and discharged by President Director and upon approval by the Board of Commissioners. The Internal Audit Communicate directly with the Board of Directors, the Board of Commissioners and / or the Audit Committee.

The Head of Internal Audit oversees four (4) auditors who structurally responsible directly to the President Director and functionally coordinated to the Audit Committee. Internal Audit has unlimited access to all activities, functions, records, property and human resources of the Company.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Internal Audit Unit

    Erwin Arianto, SE., MBA.,QIA, He is currently the Head of the Internal Audit Unit based on the Decree of the Board of Directors regarding the appointment of the Head of the Internal Audit Unit on February 3, 2020. Indonesian citizen, born in Jakarta, 1982, domiciled in Depok City, Indonesia. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics, Pancasila University majoring in Accounting in 2004 and completed his Master of Business Administration from Gajah Mada University in 2019. Has an Internal Audit Qualified Certification (QIA) and a Level 1 Risk Management Certificate (BSMR).

    Starting his career as an auditor at KAP Basyirudin Nur in 2004, and having a career in internal audit since 2005, by joining various companies including PT BRI Multifinance Indonesia 2013-2020, PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk 2010-2013, PT Sanyo Indonesia 2006- 2010, PT Merapi Utama Pharma 2005-2006 with a total experience in the field of Audit of more than 15 years, since February 2020 He joined and was appointed as Head of the Company’s Internal Audit Unit until now.

Internal Audit Charter

In carrying out its duties, Internal Audit has an Internal Audit Charter which was approved and ratified by the Board of Director and Board of Commissioner on October 13, 2022. The Audit Charter is used as a guide in carrying out its duties, which contains the vision, mission, objectives, code of ethics, structure and position, independence, accountability and regulates the work relationship between Internal Audit and Management, the Audit Committee and the External Auditor. In accordance with POJK No. 56 /POJK.04/2015 of 2015 concerning the Establishment and Guidelines for the Preparation of the Internal Audit Unit Charter.
